How long do I have access to my course?

Once you have paid for course access and your username and password have been issued and sent to you, you have six months to complete the course.

I’ve never taken an online course before! What advice can you give me?

To get the most from your course, it’s important to have a plan. If you don’t already have one, the Chamber Learning Network™ can provide you with a customizable schedule for your specific course.

We strongly recommend the “Learn, Do, Review” philosophy. Ideally you should spend 15 minutes to three hours working through part or all of a module, and then practice your new skills with the recommended exercises. You can then start applying your skills in real life, reviewing the course as needed.

Each module builds on the previous and you will find the most success in applying the new knowledge if you “Learn, Do, Review.” With six months of access there is plenty of time to work through the entire course in this manner.

How does Chamber Learning Network support me through the course?

Chamber Learning Network’s support staff is available to assist you! Please contact us at any time.

During your course access time, there are several points of contact:

  • Learner support contact after two weeks if course is not started
  • Learner support contact after one month on progress through course
  • Learner support contact after one month before expiration on course access, with a reminder of access expiration date.
  • Final learner support contact with a note regarding expiration and a link to an exit survey.

What happens at the end of a course?

At the completion of the course, a certificate is issued via email.

What’s the difference between a module and a course?

A typical Chamber Learning Network’s course is made up of approximately 10 modules.

How much time will it take to complete one course?

Each module can take approximately 30 minutes to up to 3 hours of learning time. This means a course averages around 25 hours of learning time. Again, keep in mind you have six months to work through the course.
