Description: This course explains the use of Adobe Bridge in relation to the other CS4 applications and Adobe Photoshop. Bridge is a central hub that you can use to locate, organize, and browse the documents you need to create print, Web, video, and audio content.

Photoshop CS4: Understanding Photoshop Basics

Description: This course explains several of the fundamental uses of Adobe Photoshop CS4. This course teaches about combining images by working with layers. This course also features information on the different image file formats that can be used in Photoshop.

Photoshop CS4: Making the Best Selections

Description: This course explains the options that are available for making selections in Photoshop CS4. Building up skills with the selection tools is critical to making natural-looking manipulations and adjustments to an image. This course provides many methods that can be used individually or combined to create the best selection.

Photoshop CS4: Painting and Retouching

Description: This course explains the RGB and CMYK color models and how to use them in Adobe Photoshop CS4. This course also discusses how to retouch images using cloning and healing tools.

Illustrator CS4: Getting Started

Length: 2.5 hours

Description: Adobe Illustrator CS4 has become one of the most recognized names in the world of vector graphic design. This application allows you to intuitively illustrate everything from small business logos to commercial-scale art projects. This course introduces you to Illustrator's basic features including the improved interface, general concepts behind vector illustration such as strokes and fills, and essential drawing and painting tools. Among these tools is the new Blob Brush tool, producing a more natural vector brush stroke. The course also explores the new multiple art boards feature and gradient enhancements.

Illustrator CS4: Beyond the Basics

Length: 2.5 hours

Description: Of the many digital illustration applications available on the market, few have robust vector manipulation toolsets equal to that of Illustrator CS4. This course explores ways of transforming and arranging elements in your artwork from rotating and scaling to organizing artwork in layers and arrangement stacks. The course also describes how to use reusable symbols to speed illustration time, how to add and manipulate type in an Illustrator project, and how to add wow to your projects using styles and effects.
